Atty. Krisanto Karlo E. Nicolas - Senior Partner, Philippine Labor Lawyer
Atty. Krisanto Karlo Nicolas, one of the Founding Partners, obtained his Juris Doctor degree in Law from the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law, where he graduated with Honors and was awarded the Silver Medal Second Honors award. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from the University of the Philippines in Diliman.
Before forming the firm, Atty. Nicolas was connected with Sycip Salazar Hernandez & Gatmaitan Law Offices, where he practiced Litigation, Labor and Employment Law, Corporate Law and Corporate Services, and Intellectual Property Law.
He was also the former corporate legal counsel and legal manager for PITC Pharma, Inc., a government-owned and controlled pharmaceutical corporation under the Office of the President.
Aside from legal work, he is currently a regular columnist and legal adviser for the magazine Franchise Today. He also writes as a regular columnist for the publication Builders Today.
Atty. Nicolas is also a thesis/dissertation defense panelist for the FEU-La Salle School of Law, the Philippines' first Juris Doctor-M.B.A. program.
As the head of the Litigation Department, Atty. Nicolas has handled numerous cases involving Philippine labor law before Philippine labor arbiters, the National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC) Office of the City Prosecutor, metropolitan trial courts, regional trial courts, Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of the Philippines.
Atty. Norieva D. de Vega - Managing Partner, Philippine Labor Lawyer
Atty. Norieva D. de Vega obtained her Juris Doctor degree in Law from the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law where she graduated Class Salutatorian . She also received the Silver Medal Second Honors award. Moreover, she was bestowed the Silver Medal for Academic Excellence for her achievements in the field of academics. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from the University of the Philippines in Diliman.
Before forming the firm, Atty. de Vega was connected with Carpio Villaraza & Cruz (CVC Law), where she practiced Intellectual Property Law, Corporate Law and Litigation.
Atty. De Vega practices labor law and is a known resource person when it comes to business and labor law.
Atty. De Vega is a law professor at the De La Salle Graduate School of Business -Far Eastern University Institute of Law, the Philippines' first Juris Doctor-M.B.A. program, where she teaches Political Law .
In addition to teaching, Atty. De Vega hosts a radio show entitled "Mind Your Own Business" aired every Wednesday from 11 am to 12 noon at DZRJ 810 AM, the first English format AM station in the Philippines.
